Clatsop County Fermentation Cluster Economic Impact Study
Study finds that Clatsop County’s fermentation cluster has a significant impact on jobs and communities on Oregon’s north coast.
During the last fifteen years, breweries, distilleries and cideries have grown 400 percent in Clatsop County and in 2021 were responsible for nearly 700 jobs with employee incomes accounting for $30 million. The fermentation cluster fosters significant innovation and entrepreneurship in the county and contributes considerable community and social benefits to Clatsop County communities.
