Innovation Investigation

As part of the Oregon Innovation Council’s 10 Year Innovation Plan, ColPac has been awarded funds to plan support networks for Northwest Oregon’s innovators and entrepreneurs.

This project aims to catalogue existing talent and workforce development programs, assess demand for and feasibility of additional financial tools, and discover people with expert level expertise that can be leveraged to create a thriving mentor network and innovation culture.

To complete this research and incorporate those findings into a strategy, we will be engaging with many people across Clatsop, Columbia, and Tillamook Counties – from educators to inventors, from manufacturers to maritime businesses.

If you own or operate a traded-sector business, develop software systems, or have aspirations of being an innovator or entrepreneur we would like your feedback.

This survey is also open to individuals and organizations that work in financing, technical assistance, business and economic development, and educators from schools of levels and non-traditional program operators.

Take the survey to tell us what companies exemplify innovation to you and let us know if you or someone you know would be a good fit to help us develop an expert mentor network.

ColPac will also be hosting discussions about innovation and entrepreneurship in Northwest Oregon in St Helens, Astoria, and Tillamook this spring. Sign-up here to receive updates and invitations to engage in the innovation conversation.
